XDEFI (now Ctrl Wallet) - a multi-chain crypto wallet providing seamless DeFi, NFT and cross-chain transactions. The project initially launched as XDEFI Wallet and later rebranded to Ctrl Wallet to align with its expanded vision and ecosystem.

Challenge

XDEFI Wallet needed to increase brand awareness and community engagement across multiple platforms, including YouTube, X (Twitter) and Telegram. Over the course of two years of collaboration with FINPR Agency, the goal was to promote XDEFI ’s features, drive adoption and later execute a smooth rebranding to Ctrl Wallet while maintaining user trust.

Approach

Kickstarting the Collaboration: The partnership with XDEFI began in 2023, focusing on influencer marketing to highlight the wallet’s key benefits. In 2024, promotional efforts expanded to include the $XDEFI token and the strategic partnership between XDEFI and AscendEx. YouTube, X (Twitter) and Telegram were identified as the most effective platforms for reaching project’s goals.
Influencer Selection: A curated network of trading-focused crypto influencers was engaged to create educational and promotional content. Campaigns centered around major announcements, partnerships, the growth of the $XDEFI token and broader project overviews to enhance credibility and visibility.
Rebranding to Ctrl Wallet: During the transition from XDEFI to Ctrl Wallet, the messaging strategy was adapted to emphasize brand evolution, ensuring a seamless transition without losing community trust. A structured campaign leveraged YouTube influencers to communicate the rebrand’s purpose and benefits clearly.
